How I took back my time as a busy Mom of four while building a business.

Overwhelmed and Over it
It's 7PM.
You're feeling exhausted after a day of providing for your children and putting out fires in your business.
You review the tasks that you needed to do today.
Anxiety runs through you as realize your day has been completely lost.
You didn't accomplish a single thing to move the needle forward in your business!
With so many responsibilities, you feel overwhelmed.
Not sure where to start, you use the remainder of your day and energy towards your business.
This was me a few years ago.
Stressed out and in Reactive Mode.
I knew something had to change.
So I committed to learning how to be Proactive and take back my time!
Here are some guidelines that I used to handle Raising a Family and Building a Business!:
Spend the first 10% of your morning reviewing your intentions for the day. This will often account for 90% time savings in your day.
Decide what you want to achieve with clarity over the next three months.
Before bed, determine the top tasks you need to accomplish for the following day. Set your intentions for tomorrow the night before. Adding purpose to your day makes getting out of bed in the morning easy!
Use deadlines to your advantage and prioritize accordingly.
Determine any potential obstacles you may have to overcome to accomplish your goals.
Once you have determined your priorities, sequence them accordingly.
Take action! Make iterations to your tasks and goals to keep your priorities aligned
Remember, as a Mom, time management is key. It's about prioritizing what needs to be done, making a plan, and sticking to it. It's not about doing it all, but rather, doing what's most important and letting go of the rest."
Don't be upset at what you didn't accomplish.
Choose to be satisfied with what you did accomplish!
